Wayfarer Entertainment options film rights for 'My Hands Came Away Red'

Friends, I have some big news!

Justin Baldoni / Wayfarer Entertainment have optioned the film rights for my novel, My Hands Came Away Red.

This novel—the passion project of my twenties—keeps on surprising me. I was so happy when it was praised by Publishers Weekly and nominated for a Christy Award in 2008. I ended up meeting my husband, Mike, because it was published. And now it may be made into a movie.

To celebrate the film option I’ve “re-releasing” My Hands Came Away Red with a brand new cover. I love it. Here it is…

I need to get some reviews on the new profile on Amazon (at the moment it’s looking very bare and unloved). If you’ve already reviewed HANDS before, your review should eventually show up on the book’s profile. But if you liked the book and you haven’t left a review yet, now is the time!! Would you please go to Amazon and leave a line or two?

Reviews are incredibly important in determining a book’s reach (whether Amazon recommends your book to customers). Leaving a positive review is basically the nicest thing anyone can do for a writer, no joke.

3. Help me spread the word
